BEXCO ASSET RESEARCH INSTITUTE

The BEXCO Asset Research Institute, commonly referred to as 'BARI', is the central operational hub of BEXCO's top secret research. Located in a remote island of the Caribbean Sea, it's where BARI employees work, live, and go to the bathroom.

Despite its isolation, BARI functions as a living machine.

The facility includes living quarters, cafeterias, laboratories, offices, maintenance compartments, a surveillance center, an infirmary, an asset nursery and asset paddocks - all set across multiple levels, both above and below ground. Of course, this also includes all regular boring utilities, like parkings, briefing rooms, storage bays, or a "sealed effigy that's said to keep a "Second Sun" dormant" - you know, the usual background stuff no one really talks about.

Today, BARI houses over 400 personnel across multiple departments, all of whom work in shifts (i.e. game sessions).

The game is fully custom-built, and functions through a Character system. 

Create your own character, give them a name, backstory, choose their quirks and employment history, then customize their appearance.

Each employee is issued a randomized 3-digit ID saved in a centralized administrative database, used to clock in and access department systems. But beware - Security and Doctors can use that same ID to pull up your file, and in the wrong hands, it might be stolen for corporate espionage or wind up flagged in your Penal Record for that Infraction you "definitely don’t remember." The Administration sees all. 

The game includes complex systems inspired by SS13 and popular RPGs.

Manage your Hunger, Thirst, and Energy stats, by eating, drinking, or catching a nap. Communicate throughout the facility using landlines - whether for important reports or the occasional prank call. Log your shifts using punch cards. Experience dynamic weather, repair electrical grids, or throw your empty soda cans in emptiable trash bins!
